#NHRIs 🌎 committed to a victim-centered approach in their work in addressing and preventing torture and other ill-treatment.

Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) highlights how NHRIs not only provide crucial support for victims and survivors of torture, but they instill hope in their communities.

#NHRIs including those designated as #NPMs , can be powerful actors to prevent #torture and ill-treatment.

APT Geneva spoke on how NHRIs can be powerful agents of change by building a bridge between the authorities and CSOs, especially those representing marginalised groups.
