I’m once again asking my colleagues in the Senate to look at what is happening around the world and find the courage to stand up to the fossil fuel industry.

To everyone who told me to “calm down” in 2016 and that I should “stop being so dramatic”… The guy I was freaking out about went on to stack SCOTUS with Christofascists, extorted a country, plotted a coup, incited an insurrection & stole actual f’ng nuclear secrets, so f*ck you.

I actually teared up watching this. How can people be so purposefully cruel?
