It makes no strategic sense whatsoever for TfL NOT to lobby the GOV.UK for powers to cap PHV numbers. In fact, those at TfL Taxi & Private Hire don’t even have a coherent argument against it. It’s also contradicts the reasoning used by the City of London when they decided to restrict taxis.

The cheek of LTDA, Khan and now TfL to praise and laud the knowledge of London after all the years of sitting on their hands, banning us from road schemes and no engagement. Unbelievable

This is Brook St leading into Hyde Park, once upon a time it flowed freely, now because of the imbeciles in the City of Westminster who allowed that cycle lane there, it's now a constant traffic jam. I guess the residents of that area are very happy. Absolute madness.
