Playground Equipment Program helped take the burden off parents to fund new playgrounds at schools. As students head #BackToSchool today, kids at School District 44 schools are able to play on safe modern playgrounds because you helped elect a @BCNDP Gov in 2017 & 2020. 🧡

The other day, my little girl and I spent an hour and half playing at one of these newly upgraded playgrounds thanks to the BC NDP government’s many investments in building and upgrading safer playgrounds. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Playground equipment is eye-wateringly expensive. As a former PAC member in a very comfortable catchment, it took years to raise the money for 1 new piece. In areas without the parents to kick in via fundraisers, the very kids who need safe, fun equipment most, went without.

It's #BackToSchool at Capilano University and the vibes are 🙌! Thanks to Linda Munro for the tour today. I especially appreciated the first-hand look at construction progress for the Early Childhood Education Centre for Excellence and 362-bed student housing complex we're helping fund!
