I keep thinking how 3 little girls were killed & more were hurt & traumatised, & instead of talking about their precious lives, we are being forced to focus on violent entitled white men burning cars & towns, who don’t give a shit about women’s & girls’ safety.

The arsonists last night destroyed a Citizens Advice Bureau. For those outside the UK, that's a place where the British public, particularly low income or disadvantaged communities, get free legal advice and support. Staff are devastated. "We're protecting our community"

Investigating TRA I spoke to many teachers who had been left suicidal after investigations stretching years. This is an agency cloaked in secrecy, teachers silenced by shame. Thank you to ⁦Pepe ❤️⁩ & all the brave people who broke the silence. theguardian.com/education/arti…

Julie Price Grimshaw⁩ ⁦Talk for Teaching.😀⁩ ⁦Frank Norris⁩ ⁦Dave McPartlin⁩ It’s not only Ofsted. Whistleblower reveals TRA forgetting it’s dealing with “real people”, mocking teacher in coma, assuming guilt from start. Unions say teachers suicidal theguardian.com/education/arti…

To get a positive response from Govt really is uplifting. For the 1st time ever someone inside the toxic #TRA is calling out everything I’ve been saying. I knew they were treating people as guilty from the start because they did it to ME! A brave whistleblower has confirmed it!

Zaf is a taxi driver. He’s born and bred Sunderland He broke down when he described the hate he’d received This was seconds before racial slurs were thrown, telling him to “go back to his own country” A short clip. Hard, but important, so please watch

Please play this as it will give you goosebumps as it did me. Better for the soul than another picture of a white thug with face contorted by hate and lager. Three cheers for the good people of Bristol!

A reminder After the Aug 2011 riots, police & my prosecutors examined all the video evidence for MONTHS identifying & bringing offenders to justice - 1000s of them Some didn’t get arrested till a year later! Prison was the usual sentence My boss was someone called Keir Starmer

The biggest "quick win" for a Government which wants to reset relations with the teaching profession would be root and branch reform of the vile, vindictive, inconsistent TRA. Another good article by Anna Fazackerley theguardian.com/education/arti…

Every single teacher & school leader needs to take note of this. We are all literally one malicious parental complaint from being subject to injustice and humiliation. Brilliant teachers have private Facebook groups set up against them & then the TRA roll up. It's appalling.

A brilliant and damning piece from a lovely man and good friend to Ruth’s family who has buckets of the humanity and empathy that the former chief inspector of schools so clearly lacks.

Sad morning this morning and this beautiful and funny thread was so exactly what I needed. As good as a chocolate digestive and a cup of tea.

I refuse to retweet it but shameful attack column on Ruth Perry’s sister Julia in Times. Quotes the now discredited Ofsted report of Caversham primary, misuses Samaritan guidance, ignores damning coroner’s report, select committee inquiry… Wondering who briefed this…

Anna Fazackerley (@annafazack1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Still raging about Times attack piece on Ruth’s family & all of us who’ve tried to hold Ofsted to account. One of so many facts it ignores in blaming those who speak out is that Ofsted cited as factor in deaths of ELEVEN teachers. How can silence ever be the correct response?

Anna Fazackerley (@annafazack1) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Great thread of all last night’s debate highlights from one of my favourite people in education who you can bet is eating a lot of cake to get through today on four seconds sleep and a lot of cheering.

Brave, poignant letter in Times today - “Julia Waters saved my life” - proves what we all knew. Ruth’s amazing sister has done so much to help desperate heads brutalised by Ofsted. The truly nasty attempt to take her down with an inaccurate comment piece has utterly backfired.
