Just completed one of the most interesting Frank and Stan Chat ever! The guest ⚓️ Dr Vic Carr ⚓️ covered impact of military leadership training on effective school leadership. Insight and clarity of thought from Vic was amazing. Will be posted later but well worth the time to watch/listen
Just prepping for this week's Frank and Stan Chat with ⚓️ Dr Vic Carr ⚓️. We are booked up with guests for future editions until late November but we have a free slot next Friday. If you fancy taking this slot then DM connect with me.
If you want to know more, then watch a recent Frank and Stan Chat with @saradavies87 where she explains why oracy has been a central feature of her work. youtu.be/vUWfHQ54i0M?si…
After a short break, Frank and Stan Chat is back tomorrow with ⚓️ Dr Vic Carr ⚓️ as our guest. Discussion about leadership, culture, ethos and what's caught your eye this week? Frank will reflect on some sad personal news but it will be a positive and hopefully uplifting discussion.
A raw day yesterday when I attended the funeral of my amazing brother Barry. Many highlights but one was when three Estyn HMI told me they had used the Frank and Stan Chat, when Barry was a guest, as part of their inspector training on literacy on Tuesday. youtu.be/bO9mAgB8ASM
Abigail Welsby Yep - it's still going to be a case of 'you said x, inspector said y, they're right & you're wrong.
No Frank and Stan Chat this week. Easter break. Back next week with ⚓️ Dr Vic Carr ⚓️ a mum; Headteacher; Reserve Army Officer; Chartered Manager; CollectivEd Senior Fellow; Chartered College of Teaching Fellow; Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Army Leadership; author and TEDx speaker.
I strongly recommend colleagues follow Adrian Gray, River Education on LinkedIn to ensure they keep up to speed with his fascinating analysis of inspection grades by context. This latest one is a worrying belter. linkedin.com/posts/adrian-g…
