Taken this day on 10 October 2004.. my son Alfie qalas with the world at his feet. Just under 14 years later he died by #suicide. To all those we’ve lost, to all those left behind, I stand with you on #WorldMentalHealthDay. Never forgotten, always loved, forever missed.

Sadly, the number of suicide and attempted suicide incidents we attend are increasing. Our crews now attend an average of 37 suicides or attempted suicides per day, compared to 22 in 2019 and 17 five years ago. #Ambulance
