Fauzia Khan Rishika Pardikar Well said, DAMU not only provides advisory services, it saves lakh of farmer lives from events of lightning. Severe lightning warnings are communicated by damu are found very useful to small, Marginal and tribal farmers. Which was not possible through ai, ml and private players.

Respected Nitin Gadkari sir, Please save the District Agromet Units which are now closed. These units play a crucial role in reducing the impact of lightning strikes on tribal farmers of rural areas. Now DAMUs are closed by false recommendation of NITI aayog & IMD official.
