As much as I’m disappointed with the election results, I’m choosing to see a silver lining. I’m proud to have Rhiannon Hoyle as my MLA, along with Rod Loyola serving in the community I teach in. I know that when things are tough, the Alberta NDP will fight back

Teachers' working conditions expose us to constant sensory & cognitive overload. We suffer from decision fatigue. There's also something called empathy fatigue. Google it if you don't know. We chose to do this work. Doesn't mean we don't love it. But these things should be named.

People complaining about the cost of consulting on the renaming of Oliver have no idea about history, nor the true cost of returning stolen land.
