March 26th 2023 paper collage. Having destroyed some old collages & writings recently, I toyed around with the remains today, this being the result. Looking much like my 2018 works, I gave it a title as prosaic as possible.

I love our fans. They know it. I may be a bit short with phonies that measure a show by amount of songs or length of time which is bullshit. But your thing is legit. You had it your way for 40 years. Enjoy your memories my friend! It’s something different now. Most folks like it.

Artists: Never stay in your own lane. Change styles if you like; switch mediums, materials, whatever. There’s no need for consistency. When people tell you to stay in your lane, they’re trying to hold you back or keep you down. Do whatever you want to do and you do it well.
