As humanitarian funding decreases globally, Sweden remains one of the world’s largest donors.

Sweden continues to work with UN organisations such as UN Humanitarian and UN Humanitarian_Americas, along with other actors to ensure humanitarian support reaches those who need it most. 🇸🇪🇺🇳

Sweden is issuing a USD 250 million guarantee to Inter-American Development Bank to save the Amazon region – the largest guarantee that Sida has provided to date.

The investments made under the guarantee will help preserve ecosystems and strengthen the bioeconomy.
