Liz Webster Richard goulden Those that gleefully endorsed it & voted for it were in lowest education & income segments - they were desperate & were sold a bad solution - that they can't afford now & it only gets worse, especially under authoritarian govt.

Unions and left need to get on rejoin bandwagon

I will build at least 10,000 council homes. As for right to buy – suspend it for new properties. There’s no point us building houses if people sell them off cheaply to no public benefit. It’s like running a bath with no plug. ⁦Andy Burnham⁩ theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

The Tories: Never before has a party been in power for 14 years and achieved so little and damaged so much. But still they hang on till the last possible moment. They deserve to be electorally crushed and kept from power for a very long time.

One never acknowledged aspect of benefits is that this is money going back into the economy - spent on daily necessities. Not squirreled away off shore. People on benefits ARE economically active and paying £££ in indirect taxes.

Claire Coutinho saying they want to 'establish the facts fully' is fucking hilarious considering this is the joker who used her conference speech to talk about a pretend meat tax Labour were going to introduce.

Frauds, all of them. Vote them out.

I have done so for the past 8 years.

I have explored this city from North to South and East to West - and it's an amazing place to live. I've seen everything from suburbs in Enfield to parks in Merton to festivals in Clapham to theatre on the…

Could there really be a hung parliament at the next election? 🤔

Rishi Sunak may have seized on research suggesting that if the local results were replicated in a general election, Labour would fall short of majority.

But here’s why I think reading across in this way is hard…

Hamas and Israel
As we await Ceasefire announcement inc in Rafah

Watch ⏬️ from Led By Donkeys (Feb) a
5 km line for children killed by Israel

By May UN says:
17,000 orphaned
14,000 seriously injured
3,000+ more have been killed

Put together
the line would be
FOUR TIMES AS LONG

The assault on Rafah is genocide in action. Political leaders in the UK must call this for what it is, it’s a war crime. International action is needed to halt the attack. We need an urgent vote in Parliament to end the UK’s complicity in this & to end the arms sales to Israel

One million people have fled to Rafah. For months, the U.S. has warned against an attack.

Netanyahu ignored the warnings. Now an assault is imminent. It will kill countless civilians.

President Biden must back his words with action. End all offensive military aid to Israel.

UK govt must stand with others in international community making clear that extreme Netanyahu govt attacking Rafah breaches international law - there is no safe place to “evacuate” to. How frightened must children there be? UK Govt must stop grim complicity & end arms sales now

Rafah is under attack & there is nowhere for Palestinians to go.

This latest escalation in Israel's genocidal assault on Gaza must be met with consequences:

From the UK immediately banning arms sales to the ICC holding Netanyahu & Israeli officials to account for war crimes.
