But you need to remember:

- The team giving you feedback shows trust
- Shows they care
- They want you to develop
- Opportunity to build great team

We see too many “accidental managers”

Moved into roles that they really didn’t want or thinking they had to take this on to develop their careers.

Bearing in mind:
- where the data is stored?
- how they use the data you share
- employees

When you get bad feedback from your team, your first reaction may well be anger or defence mode.

Your fight or flight mode kicks in.

The best thing you can do is to stop and breathe, get the full feedback and process.

Don’t react straight away.
