Today U.S. faculty are more liberal, & less conservative, than graduates in the general pop. No surprise.

BUT the long-term erosion of conservatives in both series occurs since 1980. So can't be blamed on recent developments-BLM, DEI, MAGA, etc. It's education, stupid.
