The LtGov was delighted to welcome Her Excellency Hanne Fugl Eskjaer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, to Gov House. During the visit, the Ambassador presented the Honorary Consul for Nova Scotia, Melissa Mathers, with the Order of Dannebrog.

The LtGov was delighted to celebrate #TartanDay at Gov House. The afternoon featured performances by students with Halifax Highland Dance & Gaelic Studies, Citadel High School, along with remarks from Mr. Tom Wallace, President of the Federation for Scottish Culture in NS.
Their Honours were delighted to welcome Bob Chaulk, author, historian & diver to Gov House. Mr. Chaulk marked the 151st anniversary of the SS Atlantic Museum shipwreck, the largest marine disaster to occur off the Canadian coast prior to the sinking of the Titanic.
