A blessing for the Hocking Building Affordable Housing Project in Chinatown was held 10/11. This adaptive reuse project using federal historic rehabilitation tax credits will result in 40 rental affordable housing units while preserving the features of the historic building.

Work has begun in the Lahaina Natl Historic Landmark Dist to stabilize Baldwin House & Masters Reading Room after the devastating fires last year. Lahaina Restoration Foundation project is shoring up the walls to prevent further damage while recovery efforts & further planning efforts occur.
