#RIP James Earl Jones who passed away today at the age of 93. Jones was an Army veteran who used the GI Bill to study acting before launching a career that included providing the voice for Darth Vader and portraying Admiral James Greer in THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER.

I have crawled, sauntered, trotted, walked, power-walked, scurried, trod, dashed, jogged, ran, and sprinted over 6,000 miles since regaining control of my weight health in August 2020. 🥹💪🏼🏃🏼‍♀️💨🥹 Onward, to 7,000 miles! 🗺️🏃🏼‍♀️💨

Book 54 of 2024 I adored this book. The dolls are not creepy, but they do get chaotic sometimes. At first I was concerned the protagonist wasn’t the protagonist at all, but this book centers personal growth. AND the book comes with illustrations! Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

👻Book 55 of 2024 in the (book)bag!📚 The ending. That’s all I’ve got to say. So. Good. There was one plot point that wasn’t covered, but damn. One of my favorite books. The 80s nostalgia meets 90s Goosebumps tales. Not scary, I promise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️3/4

Book 56 of 2024 I think this is the first young reader book I’ve read in which the protagonist is non binary. Set during the Great Depression, “Nev” finds this door with scratch marks on it and a string of bells at their new school. It’s good—a nice alternative to HP. ⭐️⭐️⭐️3/4

🍦Book 57 of 2024 📚 This one was certainly sweet. A CIA librarian/undercover agent goes back to her old town to help run an ice cream parlor when a murder done happened? Yes please! Tropes abound, and not a little same-sex sexual tension. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

👻 Book 58 of 2024 📚 I thoroughly enjoyed this #feminist history of “invisible women.” The authors go beyond the kitschy ghost tours to tell readers how ghost stories and folklore ground their tales in the social fears about women. Highly recommend for spooky season! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⚔️Book 59 of 2024!📚 Kingfisher’s books can be hit or miss with me. I enjoyed The House with Good Bones, but this short story left me wanting. I was a little confused by the intricacies of the magical species, but she put all religions on the same plane, which was cool. ⭐️⭐️1/2

🎙️ Caught on tape "Kim Jong Un speaks and his people stand up at attention. I want my people to do the same." This alone should be a disqualifying statement for someone seeking to be President.
