My piece of advice for surviving academia today: Schedule your projects. By that I mean, space out the things you are writing and publishing to give yourself breathing room. Work with your collaborators to do that if you have them. It's a lifesaver. (1/2)

To remember what you learn, don't just review it. Read it out loud.

You're more likely to retain what you say than what you hear or read silently. Actively producing words in your own voice makes them stick.
