DoorDash just reported record revenue - $2.5 billion over the last quarter. Maybe instead of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to fight against the minimum wage, they should drop their retaliatory fees and pay their workers.

10 years ago, Seattle did what many thought was impossible by passing a $15 minimum wage. Since then, we've continued to push the needle with pro-worker protections and the economy has grown at a record pace.

The lesson is that when workers thrive so does the economy.

Happy International Workers Day AND happy 10 year anniversary of the in Seattle.

I’m proud that Seattle is a leading city in this nation on labor standards. When workers thrive, our local economy thrives.

That’s why I will defend and support gig workers.

Thank you to the Duwamish Tribe for hosting me at the Longhouse today to follow up on the funding we secured for Tribal mental & behavioral health services in the 2022 budget.

Healthcare is a human right, and it’s critical to have access to culturally relevant clinics.
