On this day in 1917, Canadians were in the first wave of the attack on Vimy Ridge. They went ‘over the top’ and into enemy fire to secure a costly but important victory. #CanadaRemembers their sacrifices.
#ARC100Ans
Congratulations to Royal Canadian Air Force on a century of service to the nation. Whenever and wherever we need Canadian Army boots on the ground, we can always count on you to get us there safely and provide top cover. Thank you, colleagues. #RCAF100Years
On National #Indigenous Languages Day, I’m grateful for the champions keeping our languages alive by passing them on to new generations. As we say in Wendat: tisetahah (stand up) and satatiah (speak)!
