Victorian diseases erysipelas and scabies return to the UK. Poverty, poor housing are the main causes. Govt response - benefit cuts for poor, two-child benefit cap, winter fuel payment cut, frozen tax thresholds. Must redistribute wealth. Tax the rich. theguardian.com/society/2025/a…

A new poll shows 89% of Labour members support a Wealth Tax. Other polls show a massive 78% of the public back a 2% wealth tax on assets worth more than £10 Million. The Goverment should listen, drop the cuts to disability benefits and bring in a Wealth Tax instead

I want to know when there will be massed tractor protests in London in response to the possibility of chlorinated chicken and hormone injected beef from the US?

“Israel is bombing Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza — and you’re worrying about Yemen interfering with ships?” “Israel has killed 30,000 Palestinians. The Yemenis haven’t killed anyone.” —Irish MEP Mick Wallace, calling out EU hypocrisy.

This is incredible. In 2030 the sale of new diesel and petrol cars will be banned in the UK - except to the ultra-rich, whose McLarens, Bentleys and Aston Martins will be exempt. The most polluting of all. You couldn't make it up.

The underlying story of the past few days is billionaires became richer, working people became poorer & politicians will blame it on immigrants & foreigners. Textbook.

Gove's 'promotion' is a middle finger to the public. He lied, he failed, and now he's being rewarded with a title and a fat pension. The elite are laughing all the way to the House of Lords, while we're left to deal with the consequences of their incompetence #BBCBreakfast

Tax the rich too little and we become poorer. Tax them too much then they leave, making us poorer. Tax them the right amount and they avoid it anyway, making us poorer. The rich make us poorer all ways. Let them fuck off to Dubai.

Interesting how the folk arguing against children receiving a free breakfast and help for working families are the same folk shouting that the government should be "helping their own". Well which is it?

In the UK in 1970, the average wage was £1,117 a year and the average house price was £3800. Boomers need to remember these numbers when they tell young people today that they have it easy.

.BT 4 weeks of broadband issues, several phone calls and texts, one engineer visit, broken promises of brand new router, new routers delivery delayed, multiple dropouts per day… and still no resolution, can’t even talk to a manager anymore… what am I paying you for exactly?

.Hillingdon Council I have been on hold to your repairs team for best part of an hour now, to try and discuss a kitchen repair I was told I needed 6 months or so ago and have heard nothing since… is this really acceptable? Danny Beales MP

I recently downloaded Unreal 5.5 and thought I would ask ⁦OpenAI⁩ ChatGpt if it has any capabilities to help me… it blatantly lied to me and doubled down on its lies… here how it went… chatgpt.com/share/682fdc1a…

The facts are these: Israel ATTACKED Iran. The US ATTACKED Iran Israel's occupation of Palestine is ILLEGAL. Trump withdrew from the JCPOA UNILATERALLY. Iran was NEGOTIATING when it was attacked. However you spin it, these are the facts.

So today is 9 years since the Brexit vote. The day that was supposed to save the Tory party, get rid of Farage, reduce immigration and make us all better off. That went well. 😭

I am one of over 100 Labour MPs to have signed the Parliamentary Amendment to vote down the Disability Cuts Bill at next Tuesday's vote. A Labour government exists to tackle poverty - not to force hundreds of thousands more disabled people into it.

We scrapped all the youth clubs, made everything expensive, took away things like skate parks, built massive housing estates with no green space, and wonder why kids get up to no good online. It's a complete mystery that definitely isn't a problem of our own making.
