Like Danielle Fairweather-Chan I would also like to be rich, but not famous 💅🏼 We need to make sure we are asking patients the right questions when using #PROMS #ESTRO24

A real honour to present alongside these wonderful ladies this morning, together providing guidance and evidence for the use of PROMs within clinical practice. A power trio (if I do say so myself!) ☢️ #ESTRO24

Good to see survivorship and late effects listed as a pressure point. Studies clearly show cancer survivors have poorer long-term health that those without cancer and that post treatment support is a postcode lottery for access to specialist late-effects services. PRDA UK

🗣️We need to continue to bridge the gap in radiotherapy between clinical outcomes and patient experiences to ensure that treatments not only work but also genuinely improve patients' #qualityoflife

I agree with Richard that we will only make progress on #LivingWithAndBeyondCancer with parity of esteem in research. For starters, how about if cancer treatment research can’t happen without parallel research into personalised management of likely acute/chronic side effects?
