Internalize: women have more power than they think. We often give up our power because we think we have none. Example: not paying attention to your finances or as is the case in this environment - letting the male partner take charge and not participating in financial decisions.

Even more critical is the severity of the 75% political participation gap according to World Economic Forum. How do we expect to drive forward progress for women when - as of February 2019 - only three countries (Rwanda, Cuba, and Bolivia) had 50% or more women in parliament? #WeMatter @ahiveco

It goes without saying that when women are missing from the seats of power that govern states, there is a chance that the policies necessary to protect and empower the most vulnerable amongst us – women and children – will be overlooked #WeMatter #EconomicEmpowerment
