Had an argument with an old friend about acceptance of the LBGTQ community..she said just because someone doesn’t accept doesn’t mean they hate…I said don’t you think not accepting leads to hate..her comment..you might be right..never let people off the hook…

Love arguing differences of opinion. Love arguing differences of political philosophies. Struggle with debating people who use god as their evidence..I mean how do you respond? Refuse to engage those who are unwilling to listen to another view point…I mean what’s the point?

Penny and I took a cooking class today and we were joined by a wonderful lady from Canada. She was so much fun. We had so much fun working with her. What the fuck are we doing???

My wife has the best relationship with both of our adult children. It is something special to behold. The way she lights up when they call on Mother’s Day brings tears to my eyes. Penny is the best.

My father was killed on May 18th 1971 in Vietnam. Memorial Day is sacred. We honor those who have fallen to defend our country and its ideals on this day. And the men and women that gave their lives did it so the freedoms America stands for continue…that means freedom for all…
