🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 - Shakwon Barrett ( Shakwon Barrett ), a 6’6 Canadian point guard, will return to the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans after a standout season with the team saw him earn the 2021-2022 Rookie of The Year award from the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC).

Barrett hails from Toronto and spent his formative years at the internationally accredited Oakwood Collegiate Institute, a Grassroots Canada Basketball high school.

He concluded his high school career at prestigious Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, Nevada, before committing to NCAA Division Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Barrett spent three seasons with the Tulane Green Wave under the tutelage of former NBA Coach of the Year (1999) Mike Dunleavy Sr. He then transferred to Tennessee State University, where he started 10 of the renowned HBCU’s 21 games while procuring a degree in Kinesiology.
