Ever since 9/11 we’ve been an “emergency” nation. 9/11, financial crisis, covid, Russia, all “emergencies” that require the government seize emergency powers. Let’s end the phony emergencies. It was better before. I miss it and I wish my kids could grow up in a normal country.
