#TootingHistory – The London Underground map over 100 years ago in 1908! No #Tooting stations are listed, as Tooting Bec and Broadway both opened in 1926 (with Tooting Bec originally named Trinity Road), as part of the Morden extension.

This week we are trekking to one end of the Northern Line and exploring Edgware. The station opened 100 years ago and kickstarted a population boom that saw the town grow into a suburb. Read more on Edgware and its modernist buildings here buff.ly/4gai3hu

We love a ghost sign & we're lucky to have a few classic examples around #Tooting, like this Meggezones sign on the corner of Noyna Rd & Upper Tooting Rd! If you'd like to find out more, Roy Reed 💙 has mapped the location of over 750 London ghost signs at reeddesign.co.uk/ghostsignsmap
