Reflecting briefly on the movie Beneath The Planet of the Apes, I just remember as a kid, I was so stunned (and almost impressed!) that a film had the guts to end w/ the world being blown up. Disturbing, a bold move, and certainly unlike any movie ending I'd ever seen before!
