Charlotte Clymer 🇺🇦 John Legend Georgetown Institute of Politics & Public Service We are a constitutional republic with 50 democratic micro experiments; not a national democracy. The EC was put in place specifically to prevent populous mob rule which is exactly what’s being proposed here. It’s literally a design feature of our republic and not a flaw.
