As part of our 'Futuras Estrellas' program in the Dominican Republic, the New York Mets hosted a #JuniorMets baseball clinic for sandlot stars of the DR! Youth players put their newly donated equipment to work and participated in a full day of fun baseball drills! ⚾️

NYPD Officer Brett Boller of NYPD 103rd Precinct was shot in the line of duty after he courageously responded to a dispute on an MTA bus in Queens. We were honored to visit Officer Boller and bring New York Mets alumni Turk Wendell along to thank him for his service & wish him a speedy recovery!

The New York Mets and Amtrak have teamed up to bring USA Baseball's #FunAtBat program to local students across New York City. As part of the program, Mr. Met & Mrs. Met visited students at P.S. 28 in Corona, NY to help teach every aspect of the game including fielding, throwing & batting!
