Success in our efforts to tackle EV misinformation!
Our complaint to IPSO about a Daily Mail Online article that blamed EVs for the UK's potholes appears to have been upheld
Here are the pictures of the Mail's correction, the original article and the amended article
Details below
I spoke to The Guardian about the challenges many are experiencing in UK farming due to heavy rainfall. It's becoming difficult to plant crops such as potatoes & salads on time. We need to consider new strategies to cope with the changing climate. š theguardian.com/environment/20ā¦
David Frost Ross Clark Iām sorry David Frost but youāre wrong on this. We spent over Ā£50 billion last winter subsidising energy bills because of the cost of imported gas, following Russian invasion. Encouraging home heating using UK produced electricity is a question of national energy security.
Another day, another comment piece in the Telegraph that:
a) has a pop at EVs
b) says stuff about EVs that is pretty misleading
This one, by Ross Clark, also says some fairly misleading things about road pricing
So here's a thread to correct the narrative - buckle up!
The EU's plan for a 'brown' European Commission until 2029 apparently. Sell out the environment. Give big #agribusiness what it wants andš¤ it keeps the far right at bay... but what if it does exactly the opposite?
On my farm weāve received our entire annual rainfall since mid-October. Climate change posing a fundamental challenge to food production.
