The false choice fallacy (false dilemma) presents two options as the only possibilities when 99 other alternatives exist. Gun banners chant the fallacy: "choose either gun bans or violent crime," as if causally related. But guns don't cause crime & prevent violence. 2A for all.

Firearms Policy Coalition Prohibition laws not only fail to achieve their stated objective, they create a lucrative underground market, with no IDs or background checks. And the money won't be secured by police, but by organized crime, and violence. So no, they won't help - they will hurt all of us. 2A

Law of unintended consequences: gov interventions always produce unanticipated outcomes. Repealing state law preemption leads to 2A sanctuary jurisdictions overriding state gun laws. Localities could legally pass ordinances that defy or bypass state-level gun regulations.
