The BIBLE tells us how God speaks, what His will is, and how to find it. We need to test what we hear about the will of God and how He speaks to us through the WORD of God. THEN we can expect Him to speak to us in that way and make decisions off of such knowledge. #apologetics

Holiness Starts with God 📖 “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’” – 1 Peter 1:15-16 Holiness isn’t about what we do—it starts with who God is.

Apologetics must keep in focus the cross of Christ. The facets of historical, evidentiary, logic, narrative, experience, and imagination are necessary, but they are not the primary. We argue for people to the football of the cross of Jesus.

Christianity is both experiential and intellectual. The experience is held to account and interpreted through the standard of Holy Scripture.

The answer to bad religion is not no religion but true religion.

I will not hand down a childish Christianity. Holiness is God's good goal for believers.

To have a serious faith is to actually take faith seriously. Serious faith requires formation, discipline, and accountability. The practice of religiosity in the local church is the best way to live into a life that looks like Jesus.

Life is not merely biological it is fundamentally theological. We exist because of God's desire and are sustained by that Divine desire. Life is in itself a supernatural.

God is not looking for the best, God desires the willing who desire to serve!

Apart from the Passion Narrative Luke 10 has got to be the most vital chapter of his work. It declares Jesus's mission, His identity, the necessity of the importance of practicing "presence", and the role of the church in the world!

When confronted with Divine Calling, we must either surrender or retreat. We must trust God more than the fear of our inadequacy.

The One who knows your limitations has called you despite them. The One who knit you together is also the author of your mission. Trust in God's power, not your frailty.
