Our paper with the Boris Lenhard group, showing distinct transcription initiation regulation associated with cell cycle dynamics during zebrafish embryo development, is out in Nucleic Acids Research. tinyurl.com/WraggetalNAR. By Joseph Wragg & L Roos, with Nevena Cvetesic

Really excited to share my first PhD work with jesse veenvliet @jesseveenvliet.bsky.social out today in Science Magazine, where we induced trunk-like-structures (TLS) with embryo-like morphogenesis in gastruloids! #MeissnerLab #HerrmannLab MPI for Molecular Genetics science.sciencemag.org/content/370/65โฆ

Introducing IN SITU GENOME SEQUENCING, a new technology to resolve DNA sequence๐งฌ and structure๐ฌ A team effort with Andrew Payne, Paul Reginato, Ed Boyden, Jason Buenrostro, and Fei Chen science.sciencemag.org/content/early/โฆ This is how it works: (1/8)

I am delighted to share with you our work from the MundlosLab at MPI for Molecular Genetics that just came out in nature.

The functional annotation analysis was performed by Abdul Kadir Mukarram, Piotr Balwierz, Chirag Nepal and Damir Baranaลกiฤ. The conservation analysis and the development of the comparative epigenomics method was conducted by Tobias Zehnder. (15/n)

Happy to see this huge effort put together and out as a preprint. Congrats to everybody involved and special thanks to Damir Baranaลกiฤ, Boris Lenhard and ferencmueller for a very fruitful collaboration.

heads up science twitter ๐ฃ the Kraushar Lab has officially started MPI for Molecular Genetics in Berlin! let's tackle the molecular program that builds the brain at high resolution. we ๐ are ๐ hiring โ give me a shout! grateful for RTs! molgen.mpg.de/kraushar-lab

Check this cool story about how evolution managed to incorporate a novel gene into an ancient TAD and simultaneously escape co-regulation. Good job Alessa Ringel @mrmikerobson1!
