On March 24-26th, we are presenting an Indigenous music and arts festival at Yonge-Dundas Square. We have an exciting line-up of upcoming and established Indigenous artists performing on stage daily. Off-stage, we’ll have learning stations, info booths and vendors.

Our bi-annual Student Appreciation Dinner is just around the corner! Please join us on Thursday, April 6 in celebration of your accomplishments as students this semester. There will be good food and good company, and exciting giveaways! Only for Indigenous students and guests.

An email has been sent out asking for students’ feedback is making its way to inboxes the week of March 1st. The survey will be open until April 14, 2023. Participants will automatically be entered into a draw to win prizes like a MacBook or Microsoft Surface!!!!

The Indigenous Role Model event led by TMU Aboriginal Student Services provides an opportunity for the TMU community to learn from and engage with Indigenous leaders. The Role Model shares their story and insight into their lived experience, chosen field and professional journey.

A friend shared this photo of my dad in NYC today. This image of the boy he was when he went to St. Michael’s breaks my heart. But it also leaves me in awe of the man he was able to become - how he reclaimed the beauty of our culture, language & community in spite of it all. 🧡
