Grade 9 STEMatSaunders took a look at budgeting scenarios today as they wrap up their Careers course. Calculating income vs expenses and brainstorming options to tackle any debts. Saunders Secondary

Missed day 4 yesterday but a text I recommend to students that connects to language, history, social issues, etc. is Trevor Noah’s Born A Crime. Great mix of serious topics, real stories, and comedy sprinkled throughout. TVDSBLiteracy #TVDSBLiteracy
Day 5 #TVDSBLiteracy challenge - looking forward to using the Storykeepers Podcast with Waubgeshig Rice in #NBE this semester. Specifically episode 1: Why Indigenous Literature Matters.
Some team building for semester 2 Saunders Secondary. Challenge to write “respect” without touching the marker… very little success, but very entertaining!
Beading workshops happening this week in #NAC1O Saunders Secondary. Students are creating mini beaded lanyard keychains. ❤️💛
