IMHO, Twitter is El*n's "midlife crisis" Corvette. He's driving it way faster than he knows how to control it, and it's going to end up totalled.

This tweet, just an hour old, hasn't aged well. Twitter is still up, while Pizza Hut's online ordering site is currently as dead as most of their dine-in locations.

Going through my early twitter history. So much cringe.

I started using Twitter in earnest at #pycon 2008 (Twitter was small enough and techie enough that PyCon was trending over SXSW). It's appropriate that I'm coming back to it for #pycon2024.
