A glenohumeral labral tear is one of the conditions athletic trainers are taking care of #FromHeadtoToe. What are some signs and symptoms you have seen with patients that have experienced a GH labral tear?

Literally all you need to do is tell your athletic trainers “Happy National Athletic Training Month” and it will make their entire day/week or month. It’s that simple!!

Injuries at the top levels (NBA, WNBA, NCAA) are a result of increased pressure at the bottom with youth, AAU, and high school basketball setting athletes up for overuse injuries. The amount of times I hear kids say they feel so old… wear and tear kicking in so bad!

Dear Youth Athletes, Be an athlete first... Stay away from playing one competitive sport all year... Stay away from superteams... Stay away from tournaments that put out too many games over too few days... Stay away from "elite" anything... Stay away from youth national

Does your school 1) have an athletic trainer for athletics and 2) have enough AT’s. Having an Athletic trainer for all athletic events from practices to Games and tournaments should be in your operating budget at all levels from PeeWee up to the professional level.
