SachaKopp University of Nebraska at Omaha It is a wonderful initiative! Heidi Blackburn who supports UNO CBA has lowered book costs for our students so much. Her enthusiasm for access is infectious!
Our first 3 cohorts are on track to save University of Nebraska at Omaha students over $190,000 at the end of this semester! They are doing great things and we can’t wait to welcome another cohort! 🥳🥳🥳
It's tomorrow!!! Budgets get a bad wrap as boring, but we've got to tackle them. So let's do it together! Tomorrow at 2pm ET, Open Textbooks and Rebus are hosting #OEROfficeHours on "Budgeting #OER Production" featuring Tonya Olson Ferrell RSVP here: rebus.community/t/office-hours…
We had our LAST standing meeting for Team G’s Emerging Leaders project today! We’ve met every week since February to work on this project and I’m really proud of the work we’ve done. Just one presentation left, and of course the poster session at American Library Association Annual 2021.
I always find value in the Open Textbooks programming and have been enjoying the virtual Summit SO much! I haven’t been able to attend as many live as I hoped, but I’ve gone to the Open Pedagogy and Textbook Heroes sessions and they were both absolutely phenomenal! #OTNSummit20

Pretty disappointed to look out my window at Mockingbird Park this morning and see that youth sports have resumed with ZERO social distancing or masks. An absolute disgrace, Jean Stothert. We’re still in a pandemic and we’d all like it to be over, but this is just prolonging.
Hey faculty! As someone who just read 500 letters of rec (as grad admissions chair), I’m here to tell you that no one EVER uses the adjective “courteous” to recommend a white man. Please think more carefully about the gendered and racialized way you speak about strong students.
