The biggest owners of U.S. apartments and single-family rentals would be rounding errors in any other industry. See chart below. "Big" is relative. There are no real behemoths in rental housing, which (contrary to narratives) is still dominated by small, local players. I know

Multiple call for offers going on for new construction assets around Texas in high growth cities. Both properties have been stabilized and ready for long term debt. Reach out for more details

Lease signed on the new / temp office space. Can’t wait to start working in an office again. Not a work from home guy.

Checked out a MultiFamily development site in Austin, TX. Unbelievable location, but these wrap projects are so hard to get done until rents climb above $2.50 a foot. Guess it’s a sit back and wait or figure out how to reposition the site to something else.

Pay Us What You Owe Us shirts is the LP version of showing up at the property… right as the bank is posting the foreclosure notice asking for their return.

Had a lender just pull out of a new construction deal, over a month after signing the term sheet and 4 weeks of committee review. Developing in tertiary Texas markets is never easy. But the locals see the growth coming long before the capital markets do. Back to the drawing

I always debate if small podcasts (with barely any audience) are worth the time. A few years ago, I said yes to one with ~50 views. Got a random call from someone who saw it - listed a 40+ unit. Now working my 3rd deal with him. Tiny podcast. Big ROI.

This book is apparently rare/expensive, and so I'll use it in my quest for 10k followers: If anyone from ReTwit would like me to send this to you for free, just like and repost this tweet, and I'll have Grok pick a winner. If no one participates, I'll just give it to Alexander Pryor
