@CJackoCW This is what I’ve always said. With Matt we see Anakin Skywalker: The War General, The Hero with no Fear. But with Hayden we see Anakin Skywalker, The fractured, broken man whose desperate to keep the people he loves safe. I love em both as they’re two halves to one Anakin.

i do kinda wish star wars would let go of darth vader comics and start focusing on the next generation. comics have so much freedom, bc you dont need actors or anything just a good writer and good artist and boom you have a legendary SW story

i kinda agree, i think cw anakin expressed a much better character but hayden was probably pressured to act and express a very specific way so its prolly not his fault.

i would love if someone else got ahold of star wars and made john boyega the star of the entire new trilogy and john acted super petty abt it towards the old directors bc he deserves that

There’s also something poetic about him throwing the lightsaber into the ruins of the Death Star II. The place where his grandfather saved his soul.
