Not overtly highlighted, but GRAND TOUR marks reunion of Gomes with Thai artist Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, who is a regular for Apichatpong's work. Sayombhu's gaze captures everything as if from a distance, making us—the audience—a ghostly passenger in that haunted travelogue. #cannes

Happy to announce a mini-retro of Stanley Kwan's work at Five Flavours Asian Film Festival, with ROUGE, WOMEN, LOVE UNTO WASTE, and others being presented in the programme. Kwan's body of work has always fascinated me with its haunting storytelling and ingenious approach to genre, so I'm hyped!
