In irrelevant news. My story on the outstanding Mexican film LA COCINA, about undocumented kitchen workers in NYC, was in print at Los Angeles Times on Friday. It was hard to find a copy since it was the day after the Dodgers won! But I got one. Always a treat to see one’s work in print.
So so delighted that Amy Nicholson has been selected as the new L.A. Times film critic. Can't wait to start reading her smart, trenchant reviews on a regular basis.
