For some weeks now, as I've been driving out of my village, I've spotted a leucistic Blackbird, but not had my camera with me!!! Until this morning.

#BirdTrack On 07/03/2022 I visited Summer Leas NR, Wollaston and recorded a complete list. 48 bird species recorded, including Great White Egret, Golden Plover (105), and Goldeneye plus this little beauty. birdtrack.net

The long staying Black Swan at Woburn Park taken yesterday. #bedsbirds No year tick on Birdtrack but a cracking specimen all the same 👍 Pintail & Manderin ducks x9 also still present.

So, a family holiday which took 2 years+ in the making, finally completed. Four daughters, three son in laws & two grandchildren plus the wife & I went to Son Bou on Menorca. The Villa was amazing, views spectacular & a great time had by all the family ❤️

At Hen Reedbed near Southwold this morning & got the BEST views ever of Bearded Tits. Possibly 200+ showing at times. Very close views also 👍

Recent trips to my local wood in Wilstead, Beds to fill the seed feeders have been very rewarding! Marsh Tits, Coal Tits & Nuthatch are frequent visitors & the feeder are empty within days. I made over 40 trips up the wood in 2023 & used approx' 4kgs of seed/ trip. So worth it😍

Whilst at the cafe at Perry (Grafham Water) today, much to my surprise this Common Pipistrelle bat was flying around over the boat harbour ???
