I can think of worse things than spending 6 weeks knocking on doors in late spring/early summer around the Lakes and Dales of Westmorland. Here we go….

Nowhere is the Conservatives’ lack of care for the environment more apparent than in their failure to tackle sewage discharges.

Making homes more energy efficient is vital in reducing carbon emissions and lowering energy bills, especially in rural areas.

Today in Parliament, I asked the Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero to support fantastic local organisations like CAfS to achieve this.

Outrageous decision to move Kendal Town FC to the northern league with no notice and just one working day to appeal. Shows zero understanding of the geography of Cumbria, the heritage and status of the club and will be hugely damaging.

I’ve written to the FA demanding a reversal.

It’s great that we’ve managed to secure this much-needed cross party debate so we can hold ministers’ feet to the fire on the dentistry crisis unfolding in our country.

It’s time the Government got a grip and fixed this crisis.
