Interesting morning at a mental health in the workplace event in Devizes. Some great information here for small businesses. Ruth Lambert Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
Attending the Richmond Fellowship’s world mental health day event in Devizes on behalf of Ruth Lambert and Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). It is important to recognise that the unique pressures of running a small business can have a huge impact on mental health so we must support the 5.6m SME’s
Great evening at The Springfields Academy, Official last night with learning about their important work with children on the autistic spectrum. The vocational centre and their desire to connect with business was particularly interesting. Possible opportunities to work together Ruth Lambert
In Bristol for the FSB Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) this morning to meet with West of England Mayoral Combined Authority. Hoping to discuss ideas to promote the South West as the fantastic place to do business it is and to make it even better.
Off to Taunton today with FSB South West for the FSB Awards. It is fantastic to have had so many entries and I am particularly looking forward to presenting the triumph against adversity award. Good luck to all finalists but particularly those from Ruth Lambert . #FSBAwards
Today marks one week to go until the old paper #tenpoundnote is withdrawn on 1 March. Why not spend your last paper £10 notes at a small business? (The Bank of England has said it will still exchange the old paper £10 even after 1 March.)
Young people have helped lead all our great movements. How inspiring to see it again in so many smart, fearless students standing up for their right to be safe; marching and organizing to remake the world as it should be. We've been waiting for you. And we've got your backs.
82% of young people would like to run their own business at some point in their lives. Some six year olds are already running them! FSB South West Ruth Lambert Mike Cherry a future member I think! Check out Isobel’s Family Rocks m.facebook.com/isobelsfamilyr… @As_Beau
Really pleased that Wiltshire Council #WiltshireTogether has listened to the FSB, business groups, owners, and local residents. This change of heart is very welcome and the right thing to do. x.com/wiltscouncil/s…
"After a 2017 dogged by spiralling prices and political uncertainty, it's good to see small business confidence back in the black" - Mike Cherry on our latest #SBI2018 report in today's The Times and Sunday Times thetimes.co.uk/article/clouds…
Off to visit Parliament with members from Sam Holliday today. One of the things I really like about FSB South West is that ordinary business owners get access to people and organisations they never thought they would. Foreign office meeting yesterday, Parliament today!
Great evening in Exeter last night with Carmen Hanif for their Devon focus event on access to finance for small business. Great to see so many first time attendees. FSB South West
