Bit of a change, I am leaving Alberta to be the head of technical services for Okanagan Regional Library.

Today is Canadian Library Workers' Day - a day for Canadians to recognize the valuable contributions made by all those who work in and for the public, academic, school, government, academic, corporate and private libraries that are integral to our communities!

What a calming life!

It's sad how a platform can be so completely corrupted and turned into a trash pile. Every time I log in it is just more and more musky BS and nothing from the people I actually follow.

Well so begins another year, this one will be... interesting. In optimistic news I hope to be moderating a panel discussion at the BCLA conference this year.

Less than a week in and what have we learned? So very happy I live in Canada and not the states. Anyone single want to move? 😉
