The @FL_VBDCoE has partnered with researchers from Old Dominion University, University of South Carolina and GaDeptPublicHealth to conduct target tick sampling along shared interstate border counties. About 20,000 ticks were collected and are currently undergoing a multi-center pooled screening for Rickettsia and Ehrlichia species.
