As many as 12 families, consisting of 49 people including elders and people with disabilities, have been forced out of their homes by the Thai military forces as their homes are next to the barbed wires and tires barricade that Thai soldiers set up in Banteay Meanchey Province.

The Thai military once again entered Cambodian territory at 2:17 p.m. on August 17, 2025, in Prey Chan village, Ou Bei Choan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province. The Thai forces surrounded the village with black cloth, covering six houses in the area. Source:BTV
