2000-2015 callouts in fandom were like "this person stole money, started a cult where they sexually assaulted people, literally got someone killed" and now it's like "@/hurgleturgle wrote sasuke as a bottom i am literally a victim"

so much of this website is just people bringing a mentally ill person to your attention like a cat bringing you a dying lizard in its mouth. what do you want me to do with this homie. it’s going in the garbage and I feel a little bad for it. you did get him though, that’s true

AO3 does not need an app. AO3 does not need an algorithm. Nothing should be bumped to the top of the default browse except for new fics (which encourages posting) and you should be wholly responsible for filtering to find what you like. Very few websites are still like this.

Fabien Frankel has now limited his comments on Instagram due to harassment. Please remember to separate the character from the actor. Fabien has done a wonderful job portraying Ser Criston Cole and he deserves praise for it. #HouseOfTheDragon

Somebody pointed out that the problem with House of the Dragon & why it feels boring at times is you don't have great pairings of characters who banter and verbally spar with one another the way you did in GoT, often with comedic effect. Good ensembles are always about pairings.
